Tras evaluar el desenvolvimiento del Frente de Defensa del INS la Junta Directiva del SUTINS decidió retirarse del Frente de Defensa. La desorganización y la pérdida de los objetivos que llevaron a su conformación son las principales causas que motivan esta decisión.
El SUTINS seguirá la lucha de manera independiente y consecuente con el fin de lograr que se implemente el Concurso Público para el cargo de Presidente Ejecutivo del INS y en el cuidado de la integridad de la institución así como sus metas misionales. Para ello, invitaremos a las organizaciones afines a sumarse en esta lucha por estos dos objetivos principales y únicos.
