El 14 de febrero, el SUTINS participó en la reunión convocada por el Frente de Defensa del INS con el nuevo Presidente Ejecutivo del Instituto Nacional de Salud (INS), Dr. Diego Rolando Venegas Ojeda. También estuvieron presentes otros gremios del INS, como el Sindicato de Biólogos (SIBINS), SITINS, el Sindicato de Químicos Farmacéuticos (SIQUIFINS) y el Sindicato Único Nacional de Tecnólogos Médicos del MINSA Base INS (SUTMMINSA), así como asociaciones profesionales, entre ellas la Asociación de Médicos Veterinarios del INS (AMEVINS) y la Asociación de Nutricionistas del INS (ANUTRINS). Además, participaron representantes de las enfermeras y psicólogos del INS.
Durante la reunión, los voceros de los distintos gremios expusieron las principales problemáticas que afectan al INS y a sus trabajadores. El Dr. Venegas Ojeda recibió estas demandas e inició un diálogo abierto en busca de soluciones en beneficio de la institución y el respeto a los derechos laborales.
Como parte de su compromiso con la defensa de los trabajadores, la Junta Directiva del SUTINS iniciará una ronda de visitas a sus bases para recopilar información sobre las problemáticas más urgentes. Los hallazgos serán presentados el 28 de febrero en la próxima reunión con la presidencia del INS. Hacemos un llamado a nuestros agremiados a estar atentos a las comunicaciones oficiales sobre los avances de estas reuniones y a mantenerse en alerta ante el contexto actual. La defensa de nuestra institución y de nuestros derechos laborales es una tarea que requiere unidad y compromiso.
