El Sindicato Unificado de Trabajadores del Instituto Nacional de Salud (SUTINS) participó de una importante reunión con el Ministro de Salud y los Sindicatos del MINSA y aprovechó la oportunidad para exponer sobre la grave crisis institucional que atraviesa el INS y solicitó que la designación de la Presidencia Ejecutiva se realice mediante concurso público de méritos, garantizando transparencia, idoneidad y estabilidad en la gestión.
Durante el encuentro, el secretario general del SUTINS, Iván Álvarez, señaló la necesidad urgente de poner fin a las designaciones discrecionales y a las prácticas que debilitan la institucionalidad del Instituto. Asimismo, denunció diversas irregularidades en la gestión del actual presidente transitorio, las cuales han generado preocupación entre los trabajadores y afectado el normal desarrollo de las funciones institucionales.
SUTINS reafirmó su compromiso con la defensa del Instituto Nacional de Salud y de sus trabajadores, reiterando que la única vía para recuperar la confianza y la eficiencia en la institución es garantizar procesos meritocráticos y transparentes en la designación de sus autoridades.
“El INS necesita un liderazgo legítimo, técnico y elegido por méritos. Solo así podremos fortalecer la ciencia, la investigación y el servicio público que el país merece”, destacó Álvarez.
El sindicato anunció que continuará vigilante y promoverá las acciones necesarias para asegurar el respeto a la institucionalidad y a los derechos laborales de todos los trabajadores del INS.
